Shape & Size

The Scyrox V6 measures 119 x 61 x 40 mm, placing it in the small/medium-sized category. While its length is comparable to many other mice, its height is notably taller, giving it a larger feel overall when using the mouse. The hump is centered, but due to its height, it fills out the palm in a way similar to mice with more pronounced back-humps. Its shape is strongly reminiscent of the G-Wolves HTS Plus.

The sides feature a slight inward curve, making the mouse easy to pick up and giving it a more comfortable grip. There's also a subtle outward flare at the front.

Thanks to its dimensions, height, and shape, the Scyrox V6 is particularly well-suited for claw grips across all hand sizes. For my hands (20.5 x 10.5 cm), I usually favor a fingertip grip with mice of this length. However, the added height makes claw gripping far easier while still being comfortable for fingertip users. For palm grip, it is better suited for small to medium-sized hands.

Coating

The coating on the Scyrox V6 feels premium and matches the quality seen in many modern mice. It provides an excellent grip without the need for additional grip tape. However, if you find the coating insufficient, it's worth noting that the package doesn’t include grip tape.

Build Quality

The build quality is outstanding. The mouse exhibits no creaking or flexing, even under significant pressure. There’s also no rattling when shaking the mouse. Considering its ultra-lightweight design of just 40 grams, the construction is remarkably solid and impressive.

Weight & Feet/Skates

At only 40 grams, the Scyrox V6 is among the lightest mice available in its size category. Achieving this weight without cutouts, expensive materials, or compromising build quality is uncommon, especially in a mouse with a standard-sized shape and a solid plastic shell.

The stock skates are quite good, although they aren’t perfectly smooth out of the box. After some use, they broke in quickly and became noticeably smoother. They are also slightly faster compared to the skates found on many other mice.

Buttons & Scroll Wheel

The main buttons feature Omron Optical switches, delivering a familiar feel for those accustomed to these switches. Compared to other mice, these buttons exhibit less pre- and post-travel. The actuation force is medium, making them comfortable for spam-clicking. Additionally, there’s no noticeable side wobble, contributing to the mouse’s high-quality feel.

The side buttons are equally impressive, with minimal pre- and post-travel, a medium actuation force, and no wobble. They’re easy to spam-click without sacrificing precision.

The scroll wheel employs a customized encoder, striking a balance between tactile feedback and ease of scrolling. It requires minimal force to scroll up and down, a rare combination that enhances usability. Pressing the scroll wheel down requires a moderate actuation force.

Sensor & Performance

The Scyrox V6 is equipped with the new PAW3950 sensor and Nordic52840 MCU, supporting up to an 8000 Hz polling rate with the included dongle. Performance is flawless, as expected from modern gaming mice, and the high polling rate works flawlessly in supported games.

Software & Configuration

The Scyrox V6 features web-based software, allowing you to configure settings effortlessly without needing to install and run additional programs.
